Pharmacy Technician

The Pharmacy Technician Program prepares students to successfully attain training and qualifications to become a Pharmacy Technician. Students will learn the basic concepts of Pharmacology, knowledge of practice settings, standards and ethics, State Board of Pharmacy laws and regulations, basic pharmacy calculations, drug dosages, forms, record keeping, labeling and customer service. Upon completion of this nationally accredited program, students will be qualified to receive their State Board of Pharmacy license.  Students who would like to go a step farther are also trained to pass the Pharmacy Technician State License and Pharmacy Technician National Certification.

  • Keyboarding/Data Entry 84 hours
  • Computer Essentials 84 hours
  • Pharmacy Practice 104 hours
  • Pharmacy Calculation 104 hours
  • Pharmacology and Medications 104 hours
  • Electronic Health Records 84 hours
  • Externship 100 hours
  • Total Hours 664

Day and Evening Classes Available.

Certifications Available:

National Pharmacy Technician (PTCB), State of California Licensure
