Use this class as study lab to catch up and/or practice with assignments from other classes. Instructor is knowledgeable in Adobe InDesign, Adobe illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Flash, Adobe fireworks, Mac OSX, HTML 5 and More. Digital Photography/Lightroom

The Digital Photography – Adobe Lightroom class is a multi learning course that includes instruction on current digital camera technology, terminology and function. In addition you will learn how to improve your photography skills through composition, lighting and exposure techniques that include multiple photo shoots on and off campus. You will also learn how to professionally edit your photos through Adobe Lightroom CC’s powerful software. (this is the companion to Adobe Photoshop CC) NO CAMERA IS REQUIRED, but a mobile phone with a camera is recommended. (Additional fee for book). Editing Photos with Photoshop and Lightroom: Basics and Beyond

The organizing and processing of photos can be frustrating. This class gets rid of the frustration and opens up the way for fun and profit. Learn a foolproof organizational system using Lightroom and move on to tips, tricks and keyboard shortcuts in both Lightroom and Photoshop. Retouch like a pro! Create complex composites with filters, text and special effects by mastering layers; build awesome photo albums, both print and web; geotag, sort and group your photos by location; work with automation, panoramas, videos, 3D – and that is just the beginning! Illustrator - Introduction to Vector Graphics

Learn the ultimate industry standard drawing and illustration program. This is a beginning course devoted to helping students achieve a basic comfort level working in the Illustrator environment. It is project based and covers printing industry fundamentals, raster vs. vector art, color theory, typography, vector drawing and logo designs. InDesign Part I

Adobe InDesign CC. Learn how to design books, magazines and other print documents. This is a beginning class, which covers printing industry fundamentals, desktop publishing basics, page layout and color theory. Projects include designing business cards, menus, brochures and forms. Photoshop Part I

This is a beginning course for photographers, future graphic designers, and hobbyists. No experience in Photoshop is necessary. Projects will focus on individual tools, tonal corrections, and manipulating text. For the final project, students will colorize their own black and white photographs. Video Production

This course focuses on the finer details of camera operation, audio recording, mise en scene, compose story boards, lighting, production, editing and personal story telling. This course focuses on the subtle skill of telling a story through camera movement and composition. Students will further learn the intricacies of creating mood or theme through lighting and editing. This course consists of technical training on production equipment and the application of learned skills through a variety of short film projects. Students will work independently and in groups to create digital media projects that focus on post production and composition. For Fall 2020 – *This class will be taught 100% virtually. Wordpress/HTML

In this class you will learn to launch your website quickly with the help of WordPress. You will learn how to create a quality website using the WordPress tools, plug-ins, and themes. WordPress will allow you to create custom menus to improve the user experience of your website; upload multimedia content such as images, audio, and video easily and effectively.
